List of EU commission's desk officers for product groups

The European Commission has circulated a list of desk officer responsibilities of the product groups as of May 2012. You can download the list here.

ENTR Lot 6 (Air-conditioning and ventilation systems): updated draft Tasks 6 and 7 on Air Conditioning available

The updated draft tasks 6 and 7 on air conditioning have been published on the project website. These updated versions result from the discussion on the third stakeholder meeting that has taken place on the 16th April. Comments on the draft reports are welcome until 14th May at the latest.

Final reports of the Ecodesign Evaluation study

The study on the Evaluation of the Ecodesign Directive is now finished. The final reports are available on the study website under www.cses.co.uk/ecodesign_evaluation/.

Lot 31 (Compressors): preparatory study website online

The website dedicated to the Ecodesign preparatory study on products in motor systems outside the scope of the Lot 30 and the Regulation 640/209 on electric motors, in particular compressors, including small compressors, and their possible drives (Lot 31) is now online: www.eco-compressors.eu/

The aim of this study is to provide the European Commission with an economic, technical and environmental analysis of the product group, according to Article 15 of Ecodesign-Directive 2009/125/EC, in order to create a basis for the development of appropriate ecodesign requirements.

You can register on the website as stakeholder in order to be notified by email on study updates, availability of Task reports and meetings. The website also provides a platform for direct feedback to the study project team.

Lot 20/21 (Local room and central heating products): Revised and new documents available

For local room heating products (Lot 20) the revised version of the draft task 6 report and the first versions of draft task 7 and task 8 reports are now available on the prep study website.

For central heating products (Lot 21) the draft report of task 8 is available on the project website.

The tasks will be subject of discussion at the 3rd Stakeholder Meetings that will take place on 16th and 17th April 2012, respectively. Please find further information regarding the meetings in our section Events.
