New study started to establish the Ecodesign Working Plan 2015-2017

The European Commission has launched a one-year study to provide support in establishing the Ecodesign Working Plan 2015-2017, implementing the Ecodesign Directive.

The study aims at:

  • Developing a convincing classification of product groups and
  • Setting up an indicative list of priority product groups (indicative number of 20) for Ecodesign (and Energy Labelling) legislation.

The study will be carried out by Öko-Institut, BIO by Deloitte and ERA Technology.

The dedicated study website is now accessible and stakeholders can register to be kept posted about the proceedings of the study.
